The team have just left Benowa high School. The workshop was excellent. The kids were starry eyed and the school is buzzing. Please thank Jason, Kyla and Kenn, they made a big impact and we really enjoyed their visit.
— Bettianne Stuart - Benowa State High
Just wanted to thank you for the inspirational workshop you did at Benowa High on friday - my daughter Tiahni was one of the girls helping you - she has had a back injury for the last 2 years due to scoliosis and a couple of bulging discs - she walked away with a renewed passion - you put the light back into her eyes and soul Thankyou so much
— Lynn Wilton - Benowa State High
Randwick Girls High School visited Mnistry of Dance last term. I wanted to write to you and thank you for organising such a fantastic contemporay dance workshop. The students were inspired by Zoe’s lesson. Her enthusiasm and ability to pitch the lesson perfectly for this group resulted in the students feeling highly motivated.
Thank you so much for your assistance
— Amanda Reilly - Dance Coordinatoor Randwick Girls High School
What a great opportunity it was for this particular group of kids to come along and experience the professional studios at the Ministry, they were suitably impressed with the venue and the standard of the teaching and choreography. Please pass along our sincere thanks to all the staff who taught on the day.
— Elizabeth Popovic - Hume Central Secondary College
Thanks so much for allowing us to spend some time with The Ministry of Dance. The students had above and beyond an amazing time. It is really clear to see the difference it has made on their attitude, motivation levels and determination in class and when preparing for our upcoming dance comps.
The students can’t stop raving!
— Zoe Wells - Tullawong State High School
We have had nothing but positive feedback from the workshops. We can’t wait to have you all back again!
Thanks again for organising the day for us- it was wonderfully planned.
— Kristy Ellis - CAPA
This was, by far, the most inspirational, fun and exciting workshops we have EVER been a part in. The kids were on cloud nine Saturday night and Sunday and they were still buzzing yesterday! Jason, Jess, Kenny and Paul are ALWAYS welcome through our doors- the kids absolutely adored all of them!! We already have plans for another workshop so please let us know when they are not busy and local!!
Such an inspiring team- thank you all for being you!
— Sharee Barsby - Sharee Skye Dance Centre
I cannot speak highly enough of the workshop! It was an enormous boost for our students who have absolutely raved about it. I’ve been walking around the campus today to see glimpses of the choreography that was taught... they can’t get enough of it! I’ve had feedback from parents as well who were blown away that someone like Jason would give up his time to come to a humble highschool. We were so impressed with Jason’s approach; his humility, honesty and industry integrity made the experience so much more than I could have hoped for. Student responses today have stated how inspirational the experience was. They found the teaching style to be so effective - they could understand exactly what they needed to do and found it achievable whether they were beginners or more experienced. There are many who now want to try the Summer School and can’t wait to further immerse themselves in all things Dance.
Kyla deserves equal praise too- the students loved her. Her contemporary was gorgeous and the kids didn’t want it to end. Kenn was just great too- so approachable about everything Ministry has to offer.
Our Principal said that she has rarely seen such awesome and energetic artists work with students. She loved what you guys had to offer.
Please pass on my sincerest thanks to Jason, Kyla and Kenn. The workshop had an awesome energy throughout that is hard to describe but is a definite credit to them. That energy is still buzzing today... I love it!
I could go on and on...but know that you are welcome back here anytime!
— Rachel Grieve - Grace Lutheran College
