Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance holds a summer dance program to start the fabulous year off. Summer School at Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance is the perfect school holiday activity to keep the children entertained and active. Throughout the week long Summer School, you can be part of the biggest and best summer school dance and performance experience and learn from some of Australia’s leading choreographers including Jason Coleman himself. Our classes are comprehensive and varied, including Jazz, Broadway, Hip Hop, Commercial, Contemporary, Vocal and Acting.
We offer a unique music video experience during the week in which the participants get to work with a film team and wonderful director Jason Coleman in creating their very own music video. Learning choreography, on set skills, costuming, performance and what it is like to perform and work with rolling cameras. The filming day opens their eyes to the high energy and quick paced world of film and TV. The finished product is available for purchase. Please see the admin team to purchase your very own copy.
On the final day of the program, participants create their very own showcase which they invite all their family and friends to come along and watch the final performance. From initial choreography to rehearsing to costuming and technical rehearsals the students learn and understand the process of creating a show from start to finish. They perform routines and choreography that they have learnt throughout the week and showcase to their family and friends the amazing result after the wonderful week.
