
James is an accomplished dancer, actor, singer originally from Cairns, Far North Queensland who was mainly self taught. He has been dancing since 2007 when he reluctantly took it as a subject at high school. At school he was part of a musical trio that that wrote and performed their own comedy songs and won the regional finals of "Class Clowns" as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
He was encouraged to dance at the local eisteddfod where he scored 99/100 in his first ever competition and won best dance solo for the whole eisteddfod and was then invited to join one of Australia's premiere hip hop crews, "365". He also starred as the lead role of Troy Bolton in a local prodcution of "High School Musical" and has been regularly been a guest performer, teacher and judge at entertainment events in Cairns.
James made his big debut as a contestant on "so you thnk you dance australia 2010" where he was a favourite on the show and made it to the top 43 dancers. He has been training full time since 2010 at Jason Coleman"s Ministry of Dance in Melbourne where he has expanded his skills in all genres of danceas well as singing and acting.
James has a passion for choreography and has been invited to choreograph with some of Australia's top cheoreographersincluding Jason Coleman, Troy Phillips and Paul Malek He has appeared in a national tv campaign for Lipton Tea and was a founding cast member of the ABC/BBC/CYTV production of "Spaltalot" screening in Australia UK and Canada in 2011. James' passion is performing - solo, in a group. singing , dancing, acting, or all at once.
