Eilidh Dragovic

Eilidh Dragovic (nee McDonald) was awarded a full scholarship in 1999 to attend London Contemporary Dance School, UK, where she completed her BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance in 2002. After her studies Eilidh returned to Scotland to work as the Youth Dance Development Officer for Aberdeen City Council at citymoves dancespace.

 

During her time in Aberdeen Eilidh initiated and developed several dance programs and performance opportunities for young people throughout the city, predominately focusing on children and young adults from socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

 

From 2003 - 2006 Eilidh was the assistant to the director of Elevate Youth Dance Company, one of Scotland's leading touring youth companies.Since 2005 Eilidh has been a guest lecturer for Aberdeen University delivering Teacher Training Professional Development days for Pre School Music and Movement workshops. This is a guest lecturing invite that Eilidh has maintained since moving to Melbourne.

 

Eilidh moved to her husband's home town, Melbourne Australia in 2006 where she has continued to teach in the education sector. In 2007 Eilidh worked for Ausdance Victoria where she project managed the Industry Program Event for the Australian Dance Awards 2007. Eilidh was most recently awarded an Artist in Schools grant from Arts Victoria to choreograph a work for Port Phillip Specialist School, Melbourne.

 

Eilidh Dragovic also works as a Remedial Massage Therapist after completing her Diploma at the Australian College of Massage in 2008.

 

At Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance Eilidh is delighted to be assisting Kelly Aykers in the management of the Fulltime Course and also to be a part of the Education and Training team.
