
Ashleigh Southam has been acting since a very young age. His talent was recognised at aged 11 when he started working on New Zealands premiere soap Shortland Street.
Since then Ashleigh gone on to a great variety of TV series, including; “Shortland Street”, “Deep Water Haven”. He has also appeared in several commercials. Ashleigh has been in numerous short films such as“Crab Boy”,”Boy”,“Bus Stop in the Middle of Nowhere”, “Mans sort of a Man” and “Mr. Fluffy and the Robot”. He's also appeared in several music videos for New Zealand artists Tomas Coffee, Wuckud MC and Flip Grater, as well as staring in his own. More recently Ashleigh has had lead roles in feature films “Last of the Living” and “Pawn Shop” as well as a supporting role in the feature film “Wait up Harriet”.
Ashleigh is also an accomplished musician. He graduated from Otago University with a Degree in music and has released his debut album this year. He has also had his poetry published in several New Zealand poetry magazines.
