ACTING

The Ministry of Dance offers Junior/Intermediate and Senior Group Acting Classes. Areas covered are:

• Characterisation
• Personalisation 
• Improvisation 
• Scene and Monologue skills 
• Film and TV techniques 
• Use of Voice for Speech 
• Studies of Body language Private Acting Tuition

Private Acting Tuition
These classes are also available for students who are very serious or need help in a specific area. These include:

• Monologue preparation (for auditions)
• Screen Test preparation (for Film/TV auditions) 
• Assist with School assessments 
• To learn a variety of acting techniques 

 

Private Accent Tuition
We provide Private Accent and Dialogue coaching, using the Phonetic system. Tutors specialize in American and English accents, but most other accents are also taught. Half hour or one hour sessions can be booked. For more information contact Sarah Croser in the Singing Department.

 

MUSICAL THEATRE:
We run Musical Theatre classes for Senior and Junior/Intermediate levels. These classes focus on learning a Group Vocal Theatre number, incorporating acting and dance. They will learn singing, acting, dance movement and performance skills to create what is known as a “Triple Threat” performer.
